Screening tests are often effective at diagnosing or preventing certain health conditions. These tests are recommended for anyone who has certain risk factors.
For instance, a resting ECG is recommended if you have risk factors for heart disease such as high blood pressure, or symptoms such as palpitations or chest pain, or if you already have heart disease.
Common screenings such as high blood pressure and glucose testing are recommended at least every two years starting at age 18 and once a year if you’re 40 or older.
We offer the following tests; resting ECG, 24-hr Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABPM) Monitoring, Drug testing, HbA1C – Avg Glucose tests over 2-3 months, and Haemoglobin (Hb) with Hemocue tests to check for anaemia.
